Letter Wheel: spin the letters and build words

Goal

Use the letters on the wheel to make the words that fill the crossword. Valid words that are not in it count as bonus words.

How to play

1. Swipe across the wheel's letters to make a word and lift your finger: it's checked automatically. You can also tap the letters one by one and press "Check word".
2. Each letter on the wheel is used once per word. At least 3 letters.
3. If the word is in the crossword, it's placed in its spot ("Nice!").
4. If it's a valid word that is not in the crossword, it's a bonus word: it gives you 1 loopie per letter.
5. Use "Shuffle" to see the letters in a different arrangement and the delete key to remove the last letter you picked.
6. You finish when you've found all the crossword words. Bonus words are optional.

Key rules

• Messages: "Already found" (repeated), "Not in the word list" and "At least 3 letters".
• Bonus words are listed in the "Extra words" drop-down during the game.
• You can't lose: there are no maximum tries or lives.
• The crossword words are common words that can be formed with the wheel's letters; the content differs between Spanish and English.
• The day's crossword never repeats that same day's Word Guess answer.

Scoring and rewards

• Daily puzzle: 10 loopies (each hint takes 2 off, minimum 4) + 1 per letter of bonus words (up to 30 per game) + speed bonus (up to +4; reference: 30 s per crossword word plus 30 s).
• Every loopie also gives 1 XP. When you replay a level, bonus words give no loopies.
• Hint: reveals one letter of the first pending word (2 loopies; "Free hint" by watching an ad takes nothing off).

Modes and difficulty

daily puzzle (6-letter wheel and a 6-word crossword), infinite mode (levels 1-3: 4 letters and 3 words; 4-10: 5 letters and 4 words; 11-20: 6 letters and 6 words; from 21: 6 letters and 7 words; 1 to 3 stars depending on hints) and archive. Available in Spanish and English with different words; infinite mode is separate for each language.

Tips

1. Start with the short words (3 and 4 letters): they often give you letters for the long ones.
2. Press "Shuffle" when you're stuck: seeing the letters in another order helps you spot new words.
3. Go for bonus words: 1 loopie per letter, up to 30 per game.

Frequently asked questions

What is a bonus word?

A valid word made from the wheel's letters that is not in the crossword. It's counted separately and earns you loopies.

Can I lose?

No. You play until the crossword is complete; the sooner and the fewer hints, the more loopies.

Why isn't a word accepted?

It has to be in the game's word list and have at least 3 letters; if you already have it, you're told.

How long it takes

A game usually takes 3 to 5 minutes. This is a rough estimate.
